Surging to the Future: 1980s
The early 1980s marked the opening of the gymnasium and occupation of the new hostel. The highlight of 1982 was the band’s participation in the St. Patrick’s Day parade in New York.
A series of events were also held to celebrate the school’s Golden Jubilee in 1983 and the most important project that year was the development of the school to accommodate more laboratories and rooms.
